Slightly stained as expected for one of Australia's earliest currency documents: A$48 1851 Launceston Bank Bills, 2 items, black on fine blue paper, one with red Bank of Australasia stamp. Spike holes, else very well preserved. (For both items:) A$45 1852 Union Bank of Australia Bill for one hundred pounds, black on hand-cut blue paper. Excellent condition for such an early currency document: A$38 1857 Launceston Bank Bill for 55 pounds with contemporary repair and spike hole. Also official hand-written inter-branch letter, Melbourne to Launceston, 1860. (For both items:) A$32 1870 Bank of Victoria Bill for eighty-two pounds 18/2 No. 40480, pink print on white water-marked hand-torn paper. Extremely well preserved: A$60 1884 Bank Bill for 65 pounds 5/6. Black on white with red duty stamp: A$45 1884 Commercial Bank Launceston Bill No. 1060. Black on white with red duty stamp for 6d and purple branch stamp: A$48 1892 English, Scottish and Australian Bank, Riverton, Bill of Exchange. Black on white: A$45 1892 Tasmanian Government Treasury Bill, Hobart, for 100 pounds. Black on white with red duty stamp. Magnificent piece of Ausatralian colonial history: A$48 1894 Launceston Bank Bill, black on cream with date in red ink and red duty stamp: A$38 1902 English, Scottish and Australian Bank, Richmond, Bill of Exchange. Black on white with red duty stamp for 6d: A$45 1907 English, Scottish and Australian Bank, London, Bill No. 116-15/1. Black on grey with Riverton stamp: A$38 1912 Bank of New South Wales Bill for ten pounds. Bright pink on pink, stamped duplicate. Some handling marks: A$44 1912 Bank of New South Wales Bill for one thousand pounds. Bright pink on light pink. Excellent condition: A$70 1914 Bank of New South Wales Bill for 23 pounds 10 shillings. Bright pink on white. Excellent condition: A$60 1914 National Bank Bill for 23 pounds.
